Government

The Village of Cambria is a municipal corporation organized under Illinois law. It is governed by an elected Village President and a Board of Trustees. These officials are responsible for adopting policies, enacting ordinances, and overseeing municipal operations that support public safety, infrastructure, and community development.

The Village currently employs 6 full-time and 5 part-time staff members across departments including administration, public works, police, and water services. These employees carry out the day-to-day operations necessary to provide essential services to residents and maintain village infrastructure.
